York Red VS Blue (No Helmet)
Here is a commissioned piece, Buyer requested a York Custom From RvB, specifically with out his helmet. The head its a modified MMB Mr. Fantastic. Shaved and rescuplted the hair. I also sculpted the MK VI Chest and modded a Helmet a bit to match. (you can kind of see it in the 4th photo)
Enjoy

Re: York Red VS Blue (No Helmet)
Nice work on the head shape/facial features.
My only critique would be that the middle of the hairline looks like it's receded a bit and his eyebrows need to come in a bit closer and and slightly more level.
End of the day, though, if the customer's happy, you win.

Post a pic after the fix. Curious to see how much difference it makes. Should give him that sort of brooding look he has in the source pic.

I agree, very nice sculpting. Love the hair, and the chest piece. Have no idea who he is, I stopped watching RvB when they started telling a story, I liked when it was just goofball funny so the States agents, or whatever they are, I've no idea... BUT from the source pic, looks really great!

Redid the eyebrows, and i Faked out some of the hair line a bit. Ill post revised pics to. thanks for the feedback!
@Fish yea i dont even watch Rvb lol but the guy is happy with it and wants another figure from the series. The figure looks much better in hand, my photos of customs never do them justice. I need a better photo box and ill be modding mine soon thanks to Asphalts tip.

Great work, head looks good and the paint wash on the armor looks great. I would say I know who it is but I'd be lying, but for me, that makes the custom even better. Having no attachment to the character gives an unbiased viewpoint and can love the custom for what it is and not what it was meant to be. Hope that makes sense.

Hint - use large pics for yourself, then post at actual size for the admirers.

Looks good to me, and the pic is blown up a bit, so looking at it with a naked eye, i am sure it looks even better.
