H4 Master Chief Repaint and then some

Not only is this figure repainted but I modded the back to look more game accurate.(The original is just too flat for my taste) If you have the original then you know what im talking about...
I also added magnets to hold the repainted assault rifle on his back. Very cool when you actually see it.

Excellent repaint and mod! I've always liked the magnet thing, seen it done before in different methods and uses, but it's always interested me. Really cool stuff!

Wow lol i didnt notice him being taller. i just never pushed the peg that holds the legs in all the way down

I take it the one on the right is the original? Love the new paint job and the added sculpting on the backpack is really well done. I gotta ask why did you use the magnet technique? Was it to get rid of the unsighlty peg on the gun?

@ emeraled Just to try something different and make it unique. Ive seen it done on the 6in figures. I had to sculpt around the peg hole. Inserting the gun in and out would cause it to chip quickly. If you ever see one of these figures, look at the back. Its just annoyingly flat. I assume to make it fit easier in vehicles. But it throws the whole figure off. i just cut it out and extended it out a bit. hasd to resulpt in between. You can hardly notice the difference.

Dont get me wrong, The changes you've made are definitely a massive improvment over the original. I have plenty of spartan figs and I never thought there was anything wrong with them, not being a halo fan (or shooters in general) I never noticed how flat the backs were. I hadn't considered the paint chipping. Great way to get around that. Its so annoying to see even minor paint chipping away after spending ages getting it right!

Funny thing, other than the cryo pod set I just got, I have never gotten a masterchief mini. Since I would do something else with him anyway, it's not a big deal. It just struck me as odd a moment ago.
