So I found out my Uni had a 3d printer the other week and to test it out I went and made this.

I havent had it printed yet cos im waiting for them to get back to me. (doubt they will, i'll have to remind em) But it reminded me of my 3D power ranger weapons and got me thinking.

would it be worth making modular melee weapons to go along with the COD guns? Breaking a basic sword down to 3 peices, you could have the pommel, the grip and the blade. you could even seperate the grip into 2 pieces to add that extra functionallity. Some creative liberties may have to be taken with some designs though. Anyone think im being silly here or is it worth looking into?
