That Beast Is really awesome! I recongise every part on him except that head. If thats your work then I am really impressed!

These look great, love the angel, now do an arch angel.

I do believe that head came from a die cast marvel toybiz fig, but I could be very wrong, and If you did it PR, very sorry, but it does look like the die cast beast head.

I think you're right. I used to source from a site that sold those.
However, I really try to make a point of not "outing" people's sources.

Eh, I can respect that, but at the same time, I wasn't aware the part source was a secret. maybe i have not been in the community long enough to know my place, but to me the secret is the talent making said parts work, and not said part.

Hmm I have the angel vs apocalypse two pack from that die cast line. I bought them hoping the wings were joe scale, but they were anything but. I wonder if I can find them.

Hey, guys, thanks for all the comments and questions, sorry, been under heavy work constraints with a project deadline...

Anyhow...Angel's wings come from this Fantasy Fillies (My Lil' Pony rip off) available at Dollar General for only a buck right now , at least near me :

Angel's head is the Mega Bloks Havok with hand sculpted hairdo. Archangel is on the way!

No offense, I'll almost always use a head from a factory figure before I sculpt one since my sculpting skills are so-so especially when it comes to facial feaures and it take me a looong time. So Beast is indeed from ToyBiz, but all plastic version, not diecast:

Thanks for the info! The wings on Angel have been the mystery for me. I have been looking everywhere for those Marvel Heroes. I use to see them all the time, but now I can't find them at all. I plan to hit a Big Lots, maybe they will have some.

Don't think you'll have much luck searching out the Marvel Heroes in stores any more...and IMHO most of their heads are undersized for Mega Bloks customs, except Beast and maybe Hulk.

Jean Grey is under way but not as Jean Grey Marvel Girl, more like my Avatar and a certain lady of the weather....

James "Logan" Howlett - The Wolverine

One of my favorite outfits for Wolverine, although I like the orange and black version as well. Head is Attacktix Wolverine, rest is Mega Bloks with custom sculpted wing tip boots. Cyclops is done except circular "X" chest emblem.

Thanks guys, I racked my brain til it hurt and since I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, I couldn't figure out a way to get that Frosty the Snowman look off Ice Man. I thought of dipping and acetone and rubbing, I tried gently scraping, nope; some of the stuff seems imbedded inside the plastic. So like LOKA says, there's more than one way to skin a cat. And it was nice to do just a simple dry brush for a change.

He looks great! I agree with the others on Iceman, Simple repaint, but great effect. Cyclops is just fantastic, I love all the um. Belts? And the " x's " look really good. Very well done!
