Re: Bravefish's Customs thread!
I loved Phantasy Star. Alis was an awesome character, the story was a little crazy, but at least she was well written. I also like the blurry continuity between all of the games. Alys the savior, who had a religion with her as the center in Phantasy Star- End of the Millenium for example.
Have you played Phantasy Star online or one of the Universe series? They're no longer turned based, and in my opinion have some great game aspects.
Bowie's arm is in the workshop today, hope I can get that weird fold out of there without starting it over, I really like the shape otherwise. His head will be better soon too, smoothing those sharp cuts out, and fixing his almost derpy eyes.

Covert Ops repaints.
I love the Covert ops colors, but the sets they come in are very over priced, in addition to a commission for an elite in that color, I made a few figures for myself. Here they are.
The one on the left is stock.
Figured they'd need a pilot too...
And him...
What do ya think? Worth expanding on? What other figures might look good in that color?

Re: Bravefish's Customs thread!
Finished the 'Busa, and got an EOD up. The green from the spare pair of legs I used is showing through the paint, couldn't tell till picks, part of the trouble of being colorblind
Didn't really know what weapons to give an EOD... So I gave him an AR and a handgun, with a trip mine for good measure.
Finished Hayabusa:
And the same CQB as before :

Those colors are really nice. Am I the only one who absolutely loves that EOD helmet?

Re: Bravefish's Customs thread!
The EOD is one of my favorite builds. My sisters came has really stupid settings and dumbied down the mini visors, "eyes", which I painted silver, because they flashed, but I actually like how that picture came out.
But yeah, the EOD can be used for all kinds of things, I'm thinking steam punkie knights and the like haha.

Re: Bravefish's Customs thread!
Thanks bro! I had fun building the obs deck, I wanted to make it to scale, but even I do not have enough bricks to do so. To make it for scale, I believe it would be 3'8" across. I'm close, at about 2'4" lol. I really like those spec ops guys too, I really dig that color!

Re: Bravefish's Customs thread!
Man, I agree, the Hayabusa came out great... They all look awesome, all these are Apple Barrel or Folk Arts paints? Really sharp lookin'!

Re: Bravefish's Customs thread!
Yeah, I only buy cheap paints, most of which are FolkArts. I have a few other brands, but nothing more than $2.99 a piece. I'm very... very... cheap.
And that polearm, Definitely the first thing I thought of when I saw that weapon A Power armored samurai with a weapon like that? Hells yes.
As always, more to come.

Cheap paints all the way, baby!
Though sometimes, just sometimes, I do like the look of Testors acrylic, especially for metals.

Re: Bravefish's Customs thread!
Been busy with workin and such, so I haven't really had time to do any customs, but I just did a pop'n'swap with a Pyrate's figure to see how this would look and I really liked the result.
Here we go.
A little taller than the stock legs, but in return, you get a knee, so I'm all for it.
You're still quite below the "standard" height of the human-oid figure, again, all for it.

Re: Bravefish's Customs thread!
I agree, need more civilians! I'm trying my best to populate my world with regular old people. It's not hard, just time consuming. The really good thing is, you don't need a pile of heads, you just need bodies to pop and swap em on to.

Re: Bravefish's Customs thread!
WIP Longma, Suggestions needed, Mane or spikes on it's neck? Also, rear legs are likely going to be replaced with new ones, more likely than not finned ones, as I wanted it to be a seadragon/horse mix.
Ignore the painting on the head, it's not finalized
